How they are participating

We are mailing our 2012 Annual Report on Tuesday, November 27th to more than 1800 of our supporters and friends asking them to support the free programs and services at the Center with a contribution to the annual fund. We are asking all members of our community to participate in Giving Tuesday to make a contribution to a local organization to help those in their own community who are facing adverse circumstances. The Cancer Community Center is a local nonprofit, in South Portland, Maine, and we serve more than 1000 Mainers who are affected by cancer each year. This means we are supporting not only the patient during their treatment, but survivors well after treatment and their family, friends and coworkers.
