How they are participating

Cristo Rey New York High School (CRNYHS) provides an affordable alternative for urban families who seek a private, college-preparatory school for their sons and daughters. CRNYHS addresses the root causes of poverty—offering students from low-income families a quality education and real-life work experience that are designed to prepare them for college and successful careers thereafter.

CRNYHS will participate by using our social media outlets to raise awareness and encourage donations. We will also encourage our benefactors to participate in Giving Tuesday by promoting the innovative day in a newsletter, which will be distributed in early November, and at an event on November 8th. Our 392 students will be encouraged to perform a random act of kindness on November 27th.
