How they are participating

Direct Relief is inviting local volunteers to assemble 5,000 dental kits at headquarters in Santa Barbara, CA to support local children and families in need. For those who are unable to attend, you can still give back in the following ways:

• Like us on Facebook and Google Plus so that Direct Relief can reach even more supporters like you
• Join the conversation socially with the hashtag #givingtuesday and tell us how you are giving back today
• Send us a picture of how you are giving back by helping improve the health and lives of people around the world, and we will add your story to an online album on our website
• Host an event on your own, with your school or group to fundraise on behalf of Direct Relief.
• Skip the coffee this morning and instead donate the money to help people in need access critical medicines and supplies
• See if Direct Relief supports a clinic in your area and sent them a “thank you” card for their hand in providing care to the underserved in your neighborhood
• Start a local chapter of Direct Relief Women or Youth4DirectRelief
• Ask your company to match your donation to Direct Relief on 11/27
• For a friend’s birthday or to honor a loved one, consider making a donation and we’ll send a tribute card to them
