Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
How they are participating
Today, and every day, 900 children are infected with HIV. That is 900 too many. We’re headed for zero – and we need your help to get there. We know we can get the number of new infections to zero and we’ve joined the global health community in setting a goal to do so by 2015.
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation has long been a leader in providing services to prevent the transmission of HIV from mother to child, which include counseling, testing, and access to care and treatment for expectant mothers. The work that we’ve done together has greatly decreased the number of children who contract HIV from their mothers, but we need to do better than that -- and we will.
On this #GivingTuesday – a day in which people focus on what they can do for others – will you pledge to help end pediatric AIDS?
