As a way of celebrating #GivingTuesday, Erlanger Health Systems Foundation will host the 2nd Annual Erlanger Hospital Tree Lighting and Parade of Presentson Tuesday, November 27. Erlanger Health System departments will collect toys, games, and needed items for our Child Life department. Child Life Specialists are trained, certified members of the healthcare team who focus on and attend to the emotional, social, and developmental needs of hospitalized children and their families. By providing developmental, educational and therapeutic play, Child Life Specialists work to reduce the amount of stress associated with hospitalization. Participating departments will decorate a festive float to parade through the Hospital and deliver the presents.
