Food Bank For New York City recognizes 29 years as the city's major hunger-relief organization working to end food poverty throughout the five boroughs. On #GivingTuesday, you can help provide food and support to more than 1.5 million New Yorkers by donating, advocating or volunteering. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, our focus remains on helping our neighbors that have been impacted by the storm, as well as our citywide network of food pantries and soup kitchens that serve our communities in need.
