How they are participating

In Central Africa, hundreds of young soldiers are trapped in the LRA, in a war they don't want to fight. They are lied to and told that no one will welcome them home if they leave. Invisible Children will use #GivingTuesday to springboard our "Come Home for the Holidays" campaign, which is raising funds for proven programs focused on the safe surrender of LRA soldiers. Our Goals: 1) Increase radio coverage in LRA affected regions by 2,500 square kilometers 2) Print and distribute 100,000 defection flyers in the region 3) Hire 2 regional staff positions that can oversee defection messaging projects.
