JPMorgan Chase is generating awareness for #GivingTuesday via their powerful philanthropic network, employees, and social media outlets. One outlet JPMorgan Chase is leveraging to spread the word about #GivingTuesday is Chase Community Giving, which will post about the movement to its over 3.8 million Facebook fans.
JPMorgan Chase and its Foundation are dedicated to its philanthropic efforts, donating over $150 million annually. Every year from September through December, JPMorgan Chase encourages employees to make contributions to charities of their choice through the Good Works Employee Giving Campaign. During the campaign period, JPMorgan Chase will match eligible employees’ contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000 per employee. Over the past three years, the Good Works Employee Giving Campaign has raised $19.8 million from employees in the U.S. and Canada. This year, #GivingTuesday will be promoted through the Employee Giving Campaign on November 27th as a way to further amplify awareness for the movement.
