MargaretAnn’s Place – Wisconsin’s Center of Hope for Grieving Children
How they are participating
Through generous individuals like you, MargaretAnn’s Place hosts free grief support groups, a unique camp experience, and remembrance programs to children and their families who are grieving the deaths of loved ones in Southeastern Wisconsin. Through these free services, we are able to provide children and families the opportunity to honor and memorialize their loved ones who have died, express their feelings, learn new coping skills, and, ultimately, help them find healing during their grief journey and renewed hope for their futures. We are asking for your support so that we can reach out to new children and families through added groups and Camp Erin! It is our goal that every grieving family with a child will have access to our free services, perhaps the only grief support they will receive. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 for our programs in order to provide activities for more than 100 children to engage in during their grief sessions. Our hope is that you will think of this program as we do - a fun and rewarding way to give back to the community, making an immediate positive impact this holiday season. There are three easy ways to get involved and make a big impact this holiday season: Donate: To make a monetary donation, please visit our website www.margaretannsplace.org. See the various programs we offer and our wish list online to see examples of what your donations can support. Host a "Drive": It is our goal that each we receive enough items off our wish list so that we can cut over $5,000 out of our annual budget. You can host a drive at your office, or organization meeting place and we will pick up the goods to distribute to our centers! Spread the word: It is our ultimate goal that whenever a family experiences a death, they immediately know that MargaretAnn’s Place is an organization they can reach out to for support. Share our mission with your friends, family, and colleagues so we can have a broader reach! Have them “like” our Facebook page to stay up to date!
