The North Shore-LIJ Health System Foundation is playing an integral role in #GivingTuesday's online communications and social media efforts.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, we’ve turned our attention to relief efforts. Many of our employees who kept our hospitals running throughout the hurricane and the days following have suffered catastrophic loss.The North Shore-LIJ Health System has developed a number of programs to assist our employees in dire need, including the Emergency Employee Resource Center to provide financial support, food, housing, transportation, time off, crisis counseling and government loan applications.
