Palladia is marking Giving Tuesday by launching our Holiday Toy Drive on this day of giving. As in the past, our goal is to make sure every child in our programs and residences have a special gift this Holiday season, and—as always-- we need YOUR help to do it. We're putting donation boxes for unused, clean, packaged toys and games in most of our locations and at Headquarters at 2006 Madison Avenue. Help us make this a bright, memorable year for Palladia kids by making a donation. You can also help by setting up your own Toy Drive and bringing gifts you collect to us. In addition to the Toy Drive, we're going to start something new this year: a Holiday Greeting Card Drive to make personalized cards for the adults in our Homeless programs. Receiving a card from well wishers on staff is a small but important way to bring Holiday cheer to those who could really use some. By taking the consumer model of a "giant day of sales" like Black Friday and applying it to a philanthropic cause, what we're really doing with this Toy Drive is bringing more awareness to our community needs. We're not trying to get EVERYTHING done on one day, but to boost awareness so that this year, over the whole giving season, we can build a greater response.
