This is a very real and heartbreaking reality for 90% of our children born with Polymicrogyria (PMG), a rare congenital brain malformation that can affect any child, regardless of race or sex. TOGETHER, we CAN give this incredible gift to our children! The iPad offers incredible apps uniquely suited for special needs children who desperately need help to communicate. In addition to being unable to speak, they have difficulty using sign language due to poor hand coordination. The iPad has given our families a GREAT tool that offers much better capabilities than the outdated "medical devices" that are archaic and cost MUCH more than the iPad. Our goal is to offer iPads, and the apps needed in the form of iTunes gift cards, to as many families as we can!
