How they are participating

Posh Pets Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and responsible placement of over 700 homeless animals per year. Most are rescued at the very last moment from euthanasia in NYC's kill shelters. We provide safe haven to all those who find their way to us through whatever circumstance, whether abandoned, injured or neglected. No matter the breed, health or age, we believe that all should live secure, healthy lives and we work tirelessly in our attempts to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime.

We have two goals for Giving Tuesday:
1. To help raise awareness about the plight of NYC's homeless dogs and cats, as well as raise much-needed funds for their medical care and rehabilitation. Posh is 100% volunteer-driven so 100% of every $1 goes directly to helping animals in need.
2. To help as many animals as possible find a home for the howl-idays, even if it's just a temporary foster home.
