Being a serving arm of the ELCA, Tabitha is dedicated to our Mission; Motivated by Christian compassion, Tabitha delivers a continuum of exceptional and innovative Elder care services that promote the dignity, independence and well-being of older adults. Tabitha embraces this Mission and serves all of those needing services, regardless of their financial resources. This is why donors are so important to Tabitha and those we serve. It allows us to say "Yes". Tabitha Meals on Wheels is a community service that we're dedicated to and rely heavily on donors and volunteers. Started over 45 years ago, Tabitha remains the only home based meal service in Lincoln. Today, we serve over 420 meals every day, 365 days per year. Over 70% of those receiving meals don't have the ability to pay the cost of $5.50. Tabitha also offers Nebraska’s first and only comprehensive line of Elder Care services. Through advanced in-home support, innovative living communities, exceptional rehabilitation services, experienced skilled nursing care and compassionate hospice support, Tabitha is your answer for Elder Care in southeast Nebraska.
