How they are participating

The Studio Theatre is dedicated to producing the best in contemporary theatre, including provocative new writing from around the world, unique events, and inventive stagings of modern classics. Our Giving Tuesday campaign will support our revitalized Studio In Play program, which introduces students to the joy of live theatre through special student matinees. Studio In Play will provide free or heavily subsidized tickets for more than 650 students this school year, along with in-school pre-show workshops, curriculum support for teachers, and post-show talkbacks to help students relate the plays to their own lives. We will use social media sites, email, and community partners to promote the Giving Tuesday campaign.
