How they are participating

For 11 years, UYI has hosted the Annual Christmas Store to the Tamarind Avenue community. The goal is to empower needy parents by providing free gifts and toys that they can choose for their children to open on Christmas morning. While the parents are shopping, the children are paired with a volunteer and taken to the Christmas Village where they decorate Christmas cookies, hear the Christmas story and make their parents a gift. The Christmas Store began with the concept of bringing dignity back to charity. We hope you'll join us in giving back by purchasing toys and/or volunteering with us on December 15th.
