How they are participating

The VIA Institute on Character is dedicated to the science and practice of character development. We provide the free, online VIA Survey to help individuals uncover what is best about them- their character strengths. We hope to fill the world with greater virtue-- ie: wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, transcendence, and temperance.

As participants in #GivingTuesday, the VIA Institute plans to spread the word of giving back through Facebook, Twitter and emails to our supporters. The month of November, the VIA Institute is featuring the strength of "gratitude" in our social media campaigns. #GivingTuesday is the perfect way to show your gratitude to the organizations that aid and support communities and individuals.
