How they are participating

Village Enterprise is a nonprofit that equips the rural poor in Kenya and Uganda with the resources to create sustainable businesses. We are running a "Share Your Thanks" campaign that begins on Monday November 12th and ends on #GivingTuesday. This campaign will raise engagement on our Twitter and Facebook page by asking people to share the photo we post each day. The photo will convey a communal message of gratitude that brings together our online community and our business owners in East Africa. On #GivingTuesday we will thank our donors and have a call to action. With $35 you can lift a person out of extreme poverty. All donations received on #GivingTuesday will help provide seed capital grants, business and savings training, and year-long mentoring to new business owners in East Africa.
