How they are participating

FIRST Robotics is a series of extracurricular programs for kids in grades K-12. The mission of FIRST is "to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership." Kids build robots and use them to play series of games at competitions that are a cross between a sporting event and a rock concert. Kids learn how cool and exciting science and technology can be, while solving real-world problems and developing in-demand career skills. Giving Tuesday donations will support FIRST teams as well as our upcoming robotics competitions. Thank you for supporting Washington State's next inventors and innovators!
