Whirlwind Wheelchair International is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities in the developing world while also promoting sustainable local economic development. More than simply seating wheelchair users on top of a set of wheels, you can be a part of helping wheelchair riders achieve all that they can in life. Whirlwind is committed to developing the best-value rugged wheelchairs in the world - value for the riders so they can go where they need to go and value for the donors so that you can make the most of every dollar you invest. A Whirlwind wheelchair is more than a beautiful charitable act, it is an investment in the inclusion and maximum achievement of a wheelchair rider. Our chairs last for years and are 100% field repairable (using basic bicycle parts) which means your donation will live on and on. We will be conducting a social media campaign that aims to raise funds for wheelchairs in Indonesia. For each group of 20 people who each give $10, a wheelchair user will be able to more easily navigate their city or village.
