How they are participating

1) Partnering with the Handler Family Foundation to allow WCC supporters to give smarter this season. The Foundation is providing a matching grant to the WCC up to $10,000 for all donations received on Tuesday, November 27, so contributions will have double the impact!

Your support is critical. It will help WCC continue to provide first-rate environmental education programs to students, adults, and decision-makers. Wolves are our Nation's polarizing predator, it's more important than ever people learn about this misunderstood creature and the vital role they play in the wild. By providing science-based information, we allow wolves and humans to better coexist in our fragile environment and improve our efforts to successfully restore wolves to their ancestral homes in the wild.

2) In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, we are also turning our attention to relief efforts for our neighbors in the Northeast. Between "Black Friday" (November 23rd) and #GivingTuesday on (November 27th), the WCC will donate 50% of all WCC "Adopt-a-Wolf" revenue to the Humane Society of the United States and Food Bank for New York City, two notable organizations that are helping families and pets get their lives back together after this devastating storm.
