Their rating system examines two broad areas of a charity’s performance; their Financial Health and their Accountability & Transparency. GiveWell does in-depth research on charities and publishes it free online for anyone to use. They focus on finding a small number of outstanding giving opportunities based on evidence of effectiveness.
