Make Volunteering Easy

Simplify the path to volunteerism by curating a list of local volunteer opportunities and create a streamlined way for community members to give their gift of time.  Or you can host a volunteer event for your community!

Here’s how:

  1. Find the Perfect Venue: Consider engaging local businesses to offer a venue or explore schools and community centers as potential event spaces.
  2. Unite with Nonprofits: Bring together 4-5 local nonprofits, each hosting a simple project attendees can participate in to further their cause. Examples include planting seedlings for a community garden, assembling joyful gift bags for survivors of intimate partner violence, donating children’s books, painting rocks as plant markers, or making blankets for animal shelters.
  3. Invite the Community: Extend a warm invitation to local residents, school children, and families. Collaborate with small businesses to help spread the word and ensure your volunteer event leaves a lasting impact on your community.
