Seventy two years after the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and 31 years after the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, three hundred million children work. This is unacceptable, cruel and illegal.
In order to demand that governments and multinational corporations take urgent and concrete actions to stop the exploitation of defenseless children, Fernando Morales-de la Cruz created Cartoons for Change by inviting hundreds of cartoonists, artists and illustrators to participate and denounce the horrors of child labor. Cartoons for Change is organizing the global protests #365DaysAgainstChildLabor and #BerlinWall2021. 2021 is the International Year for the Elimination of Child Labor.
