Alicia Rivera Durán is a young Dominican-Puerto Rican, passionate about serving. She is a member of the coordinating team of the Mayagüez Feminist Cupboard and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Campus, from where she received a degree in psychology. Alicia aspires to continue graduate studies with a focus on social psychology.

The Mayagüez Feminist Cupboard is a decolonial, anti-racist and transfeminist initiative that promotes solidarity exchange between community members with the purpose of eradicating food insecurity in the urban area of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico and its border areas.
