Millicent Kimaita is passionate about community engagement. She loves immersing herself in local stories and is always eager to share unscripted/untold African tales. She’s working to uplift other women and inspiring and supporting little ones in marginalized areas in Kenya with a focus on quality education and sustainable livelihood. Millicent is is the Programs & Community Coordinator at Kilimani Project Foundation, which provides and curates vibrant, meaningful, and socially conscious community events and programs for all who inhabit and influence the Kilimani Ward. Their theory of change is built around transforming relationships of businesses and residents to public spaces, enforcing compliance of by-laws, and expanding the voice and agency of their members to influence county and national policy, implementation, and growing the philanthropy movement in the community.
