Divya Jaiswal, from Uttar Pradesh, is the first woman in her family to have graduated from college and is now a teacher. She is passionate about education and wants to ensure that girls and women in her community have safe access to it. To achieve this, she is addressing one of the many factors that prevent women in her community from completing their education – violence. Eradicating violence against women, she believes, will bring young girls and women one big step closer to completing their education.
