Henneke is a former nurse, midwife, and community development worker who has become more and more passionate about seeing women’s lives transformed by compassion and being valued. She is British but has lived abroad more than half her life and loves adventure.

The Hephzibah Project

The Hephzibah Project has three main aims:

  • To provide vulnerable refugee and asylum seekeing women with access to psycho-social support, such as trauma counseling, so they can make steps towards emotional healing and improved mental health.
  • To provide a space for skill sharing and skill training thereby giving the women opportunities to become more economically independent and financially secure.
  • To be a safe and relaxed environment where women feel valued, welcomed, and supported, in the form of a speciality coffeeshop in downtown Athens, Greece, Europe.
