Raquel Alvarez Charqueño is a human rights lawyer who works in civil society organizations, legally supporting women victims of gender-based violence through the Network of Lawyers, which she co-founded. The Network is a group of women lawyers who provide free legal advice and support to children, adolescents and women who cannot pay for legal services. They mainly serve women who have experienced violence.
