Swati Singh has a slew of academic achievements – BA (Hons) Sociology, a Masters in Journalism & Mass Communication, a PG Diploma in Human Rights, and a Certificate in Human Rights. She was co-editor at ‘Shukrawar’, a columnist for the ‘Know Your Leader’ column at Indian Express, and is currently the Hindi editor of a website named ‘Feminism in India’. She has also authored a book called ‘Control Z’ that explores the stories of seventeen forgotten personalities from different fields. Her project focuses on making women aware about their sexual-reproductive and menstrual health. In addition to this, she hopes to prepare young women to become leaders who will help in capacity-building and in creating awareness around sexual-reproductive health and around related women’s rights.
